Mandøbussen - tractor bus to Mandø

The Mandø bus has been driving guests to and from Mandø for more than 30 years, the trip goes through the Wadden Sea National Park and is a completely unique experience. The Mandø bus is a specially built tractor bus that transports tourists/permanent residents to and from the Wadden Sea island of Mandø. The bus's departure times depend on the tide (at normal high tide there is 1,75 m of water above Ebbevejen), but in the summer it runs 1-2 times a day (in winter by agreement). Departure from the car park west of Vester Vedsted, at the Wadden Sea Centre. The crossing takes approx. 40 minutes. The Mandø bus also organizes island tours on Mandø. The trip takes place in the tractor bus (then the elderly and the disabled can also see the island). During the trip, you will be told about Mandø's history, island life, tides, storms and much more (duration approx. 35 min).
