Mandøbussen - tractor bus to Mandø

For more than 30 years, the Mandø bus has taken guests to and from Mandø. The trip goes through the Wadden Sea National Park and is a completely unique experience.

The Mandø bus is a purpose-built tractor bus that transports tourists/permanent residents to and from the Wadden Sea island of Mandø. The bus's departure times depend on the tide (at normal high tide there is 1,75 m of water above Ebbevejen), but in the summer it runs 1-2 times a day (in winter by agreement). Departure from the car park west of Vester Vedsted, at the Wadden Sea Centre. The crossing takes approx. 40 minutes.

The Mando bus also organizes island tours on Mando. The trip takes place in the tractor bus (so the elderly and the poor can also see the island). During the tour we will talk about Mandoe's history, island life, tide, storms and much more (duration about 35 min).
