Fishing in Ribe Vesterå

Fishing in Ribe Vesterå is special as the river flows into the Wadden Sea. On the stretch from the A11 highway near Ribe town to Kammerslusen, there is the opportunity to fish in one of Denmark's best fishing waters, Ribe Vesterå, for salmon and sea trout. The river's outlet in the Wadden Sea makes fishing special, and it often pays to adjust the fishing to the tide, as salmon and sea trout follow the rising tide up the river. Ribe Vesterå is suitable for fly, spinning and worm fishing, recommended in spring and autumn, whereas spinning and fly fishing is more suitable in the summer.
