Lunch box house Sommerlystskoven, Rødding

Lunch box house and campfire cabin in a quiet forest area near Rødding. 

Beautiful and quiet, this packed lunch house/fire cabin is located in the middle of the suburban forest area Sommerlyst in Rødding's southern edge. 

The house is located in a grassy clearing between tall trees. Sommerlystskoven is a distinctive mixed forest where you will find many different tree species in the area. It is quiet and peaceful here. There is space for approx. 25 people at the tables under the roof. The tables are fixed. Wheelchairs can be placed at the table ends. 

Facilities: fire pit with grill grate, you must bring your own firewood or coal from home. It is possible to buy groceries in several places in Rødding. 

There is no access to water or toilets. 

You must park at the car park at the entrance to Sommerlyst - drive in opposite Galgetoften. It is free to use the packed lunch house/bonfire hut and the bonfire hut cannot be booked, and is available to everyone. We therefore hope that all users learn to share the space. 

It's about. 150 m from the car park to the fire hut and it is a gravelled and level path. No stairs. 

Sommerlystskoven is a recreational area that contains varied forest, small streams and a marked path. There are signs all around the forest with explanations for the different tree species. Good activity opportunities at the RøddingCentret.
